You probably don't know this, but the funkey blog was the 3rd most popular UB Funkeys website a year ago, and when I stopped, it was about 10th. When I came back, it was in about 5th, and I need your help to regain that 3rd place status. So I will be hiring authors to post on the site. (Alot has been happening this summer, some of my family is breaking up and we're moving, so I need some help with the site.) I will have 2-3 authors other than me (depending if I know them, and they will get full credit. Please help.

*UPDATE*
Just a quick update due to the flooding comments:
Yes, I've known about everything (or pretty much nothing) going on the past 3 months using a computer at a library weekly. Blogger didn't work there either. :c
If you are continuing to be or want to be a researcher, please comment on the newest post. I can't rake through the hundreds of comments I have. :P
And as much as this will disappoint you guys, I don't want any more advertising on the site. If you want me to see a website, please e-mail me at badotter96@yahoo.com.

Anyone like the new banner? I also heard about the Tadd incident. I'd be thrilled if my funkey made it in stores, but not getting credit for it? C'mon, they could at least say it was your idea on the phone. And renaming it? sad, sad, sad. Do you still have the original copy of the drawing? If you had the date on it in a couple of months you could get some money off of it.
Last thing, should I put up a forum? Cause I noticed that the Funkey Fan Forum is pretty dead these days.

Finally!
Heya Funkey Fans!
Yep, my computer is finally fixed, and I haven't posted in about three months. Chris, thank you for all your help. Your Funk Points will be upgraded for that. UB Funkeysblog and Akaabbey, you two were interested in this, do you want to be researchers? Anyways, I finally got to try out my hidden realm funkeys, Raj, Bomble and Yang. I beat all of their games in like a half hour. Last night I stayed up till 1' AM playing Jade Jumble, and all I got was a sparring dummy (getting sick of these, anyone else?) and the game in my room. I was on the trophy level and I lost. It's really hard. I love Yang's huge propaganda poster. It's really cool. I also got to spend my loot on an emotion, shocking aura, (which looks really cool on Master Lox) And a bag of 1000 coins. I'm kinda ticked at myself for not seeing the 13000 coins I already had. Paradox green WILL come out before DC Heroes, and you can pre-order a four pack here (I want the top two badly!) and the Game Making ones here. I gotta get a Mulch. I beat Sushi Showdown, and if anyone wants to see it, my crib is NeonMaster.
Very sorry for my absence, I'm gonna start working on this blog a lot now!

Merry Christmas!!
Woo Hoo!
Ok, that was the best Christmas ever for me!
I got for Christmas a Nintendo DS Lite, (red/black) a Club Penguin DS game and Book, Rock Band for PS2, Mario Kart Wii, a digital camera, (it only holds 100 pics) A green Ipod Shuffle, (with my name engraved on the back!) Guiness World Records '09, Apples to Apples Party Edition, Kung Fu Panda Furious Five Pack, School of Rock, some clothes, (weeeee.....) a set of Funkey Speakers, and some other stuff. Woo! I love my DS. I like the Rock Band too. It came with a Microphone, Drums and Guitar.
Here are what some other people got:
Roco: Funkiki Island Adventure Pack, VR Stitch, VR Dyer + Tiki, Xbox 360 Arcade, Waggs Doll, A Penguin named Dib for BABW (what's that again?) and a Hovering RC Car.

Dot Spot error and 4.5 news
Heya Funkey Fans!
I just got on U.B. Funkeys and I found some new things!
You can see here that the Dot Spot hasn't been updated onto the map. I just noticed that. It makes me feel blind!
And right here looks like something new from the 4.5 update. I think it's gonna be a scoreboard for highscores and tournaments. the writing is weird though. No, I'm not foreign. I'm american. BTW, if you click on it, it says that Master Lox has interrupted signals. Wait, NeonMASTER? MASTER Lox? That's waaaay too spooky.

I'm Back!
Heya Funkey Fans!
Whew, this has been a big week of news, hasn't it? well anyways, I finally got a decent phone conference with the Department of UB Funkeys on the Radica Phoneline, and I got a bunch of my questions answered. Here's the complete interview:
NeonMaster: Alright, I have a few questions.
Assistant: Ask away!
NeonMaster: Ok, so how about Dot? Will it be released to the public?
Assistant: Dot was an exclusive Funkey for the SDCC'08. The Rare Yellow and Very Rare Dot will be released, but there is no information recorded of a release date.
NeonMaster: So what about the rumored Dream State and Hidden Realm Adventure Packs?
Assistant: No information about this is recorded. (Note: There IS going to be both due to new phrases that were put onto Chat Rooms.)
NeonMaster: Do you have a release date for the DC Heroes?
Assistant: They will be coming out mid-2009.
NeonMaster: What about Bandit? The Raccoon Funkey?
Assistant: We have no record on a release date.
Sweet, huh? This was actually a week ago that I talked with them. Anyways, I am EXTREMELY sorry that I haven't been posting. I almost thought about quiting the blog. Then I swore to never shut down this site in I time of need. So, in other news, Angus is a new character in the 4.5 update, (Chris reminded me, Funk Points for him!) and he tells you about Funkey Familiars. They are like little spirit thingys that grant you access to that Funkeys room, game and shop! Unfortunately, they put on a system that allows you to buy "Loot" with a credit card. Prices range from $5 to $30. With loot, you can buy the Familiars, Portal Jammers, which let you go through any portal once, and animated objects for your Crib. I did see a giant Cheese Pizza, so I'll have to get my hands on some Loot soon! No one's been able to access it though due to Master Lox. Boo hoo. They're gonna have Loot Crads in January though. Woo! Hidden Realm Pre-Orders have been coming in, so I guess I was wrong! They should start showing up in stores next monday. Mayor Sayso can go into Dot Spot, so check out my crib, NeonMaster. And on Target.com, there's a preety sweet sale going on. Type in Funkeys in the search box to see a 4 pack of Speed Racer Funkeys for $5, a 4-Funkey Hub Bundle for $7, and a Dream State 4-pack for $13!

4.0 Hits and Hidden Realm opens to public!
Heya Funkey Fans!
The 4.0 hit lately and it brought us the Hidden Realm. It's open to the public unlike other zones though! There are 3 games that you can play for free. There's Sushi Showdown, (Chineese Checkers) there was a puzzle one like Rush Hour, and another that's name slips from me. I'll find those later. Here are some pics:
This is the Ship you arrive on. The ship is just past the Daydream Oasis. Sweet Graphics, huh?
This is the Wishing Tree that you can wish on. I hope my wish comes true. :)
This is the first gate of the Enlightment Path. There are four paths. You must put one different funkey on each orb and a ghostly copy will appear. the U.B. and Adventure Pack Characters will work.
This is the King of the Hidden Realm. You can talk to him when you reach the top of the mountain. After he tells you the story of his tribe, the Oni, he will give you a pet dragon! Sweet, eh?
Chris also noticed that the White Gem has been changed. I talked to Mattel on the matter and it is not a glitch, it will stay. The White Gem is in another "Adventure" In the Hidden Realm. Thanks, Chris!

New ranking system for Researchers!
Heya Funkeys Fans!
Ever since Chris found that Starter Kit, I thought that there should be more rewards in it. So, I came up with a Ranking System!
First, there's ranked names. They go from top to bottom, the top being the highest ranks, items meaning things you've found. (Some of the names I don't really like, so please comment some new ones up!)
Ranks:
Grand Funkey (30 items needed)
Funkey Historian (15 items needed)
Explorer of Funk (10 items needed)
FunkDude (6 items needed)
Funkaneer (3 items needed)
Funkey Rookie (1 item needed)
Next, there's Funk Points. Funk Points are earned by finding news or products. I do not have a Funk Point system up and I don't plan on making one for this, as I will be the one to determine how many Funk Points it will receive. Funk Points will go towards prizes. New prizes are on their way. When you request a prize, you will not have your Funk Points taken away.
Prizes:
Stars next to name: 5 Funk Points
Name bold and underlined: 10 Funk Points
Custom Picture next to name: 20 Funk Points (You can choose the picture)
Certificate: 50 Funk Points
Profile on sidebar (see mine): 75 Funk Points
